For 2020 we took the Weekender Online and held the first ever Virtual Woodturning Weekender. There are more details below of what happened and we’ll be posting all of the films on YouTube soon!

One of our guests suggested there should be a Weekender T-Shirt and we thought it might be fun to produce one, so here it is! Printed in black on a kelly green, Fruit of the Loom cotton t-shirt, these are strictly limited. Because we didn’t have time to get more produced, but if they’re really popular we could get more.

  • 1.00pm Onwards – Join us on YouTube (links >>>) for some chat and information about the Virtual Weekender
  • 1.50pm – We go live with an introduction and welcome to the Weekender with Terry Smart
  • 1.55pm – Meet your demonstrators, Emma Cook and Stewart Furini
  • 2.00pm – Live demo with Stewart Furini
  • 3.00pm – Live Q&A with Stewart on Zoom (see ‘Links’ for Meeting ID)
  • 3.30pm – Live demo with Emma Cook
  • 4.30pm – Live Q&A with Emma on Zoom (see ‘Links’ for Meeting ID)
  • 5.00pm – Stay on Zoom and chat for a while if you’d like.

Both days will follow the same timetable with a DIFFERENT demo from each demonstrator on both days

Although we couldn’t all meet up for the planned Pub Quiz, we didn’t let that small detail stop us!

Instead  we held our Virtual Pub Quiz,  just for fun, apart from the honour of maybe being on the podium at the end..?
